In other twitter-related (fuck) news, the New York Times is banning the word “Tweet” [Link] New York Times Bans “Tweet”
The standards editor of the Times, Phil Corbet, claims the word Twitter is too “abstruse” for its readers, and not everyone knows what a Tweet is. I didn’t know what the word abstruse meant so I looked it up on reference.com, and apparently they don’t know either because it told me to “See Obscurantism” instead. Fail. I think its time for twitter to strike back and ban any word that even normal people, or even college kids, don’t understand. That’ll teach em.
OH BTW this is the guy that created twitter. Yes he's probably gay...but rich... but probably really really into dudes.
